Divine Intervention - A Robbie Comeau Film

You don't want me to hang myself? That's kind of wrong here on dvxuser...

I left 'cause it was getting out of hand. Everyone was basically reading my posts and nit picking me.

I'm trying to be your friend here, Robbie. I'm a good guy. :)

That being said, I'm a no **** guy, so if I do something that pisses you off, tell me and it's done.

I, too, am digging the new title. I told you that on MSN, but I wanted another reason to use my fancy new banner  :

Thanks guys.

It is a sleight vignette, but I don't think I'll be using it in the final.

Gives it a nice 35mm look though eh?

Thanks, and no. It was stock DVX, not bad eh :)

I just zoomed in all the way, and brought my iris to 0.

Really crushed that background.

Cool. Great trick, works everytime. Sometimes it confuses your talent, especially when you tell them "this is going to be a tight close-up, don't move your head around too much" and then I put the camera away quite a bit. I had to explain why I was doing this.

You (Gabriel): I'm just doing it to get a nice depth of field look, instead of buying a 35mm adapter, with lenses. I mean, my technique is good, but an adapter with a flipped image and some rails would make it a lot better.

Did he get THAT part? ;)
