FS: HVX-200a -- Only ONE total hour used! Bought in April -- still under warranty!

i'd be interested in this but the price is far too high.. you're asking 4K without a p2. so if i wanted this and then bought a p2, I'd be around 5K.. at that point I might as well get the hpx170.. 3500 with the card is more like it..

3500 WITH a 16gb Card? With 1 hour on it?

Can I get what you're smoking?

3800 w/out a Card at the very least, and that's being generous.
 
what gives something worth is someone willing to pay for it at that price.. he's been selling this for 2 weeks with no takers.. obviously it's priced too high. maybe if the hpx didnt come out.. but it did..
 
Sounds like a good deal. Afterall, it's the HVX200a, not the older generation... It sells for 5k new at ebay
 
yea.. 5K WITH a p2 card.. this is 4K without.. so after you pay 4K without and then 6-800 for the p2.. then you're nearly at 5K.. so it's either send 4800 to a guy I dont know for a camera I dont know the history of.. or buy it with a credit card thru a trusted source.. that makes sense to all you guys? really?

Actually, it's more like: pay full price for the camera or get a few hundred off. Look at it as the glass is half full, because it really is.

Thanks for your perspective Kholi, I appreciate it. I find it rather hard to believe that your camera hasn't sold either, as your price point is even more attractive than mine for someone who doesn't care about camera hours. Kinda figured yours would sell first, actually. Guess it must be the crappy economy...

To the others, the reason the camera didn't sell for two weeks is because I had it priced much, much higher initially. Since I'm losing money on this, I want to lose as little as possible, so I wanted to start out high and come down if there wasn't any interest. So I did. But selling any less than $4,000 for the camera alone would be silly -- I might as well just keep it at that point.



As for P2 card issue, I'll sell the camera with a 16gb P2 card for $4,600 shipped if somebody desperately needs a card today. That's about the same as it would cost you to hunt around eBay and buy a P2 card seperately.

So, my math says: a new HVX-200a with 16gb card is $5,299. this one would be $4,600 -- so you're saving almost $700 going this route.

And since I take Paypal, you can still use a credit card, and I think I'm a reasonably safe choice, due to my over 800 posts here and several prior sales in the marketplace.

You are being very generous with your summing up, if saving 700$ doesn´t sound like a good deal to you, well stop bothering and just buy a new one then...

Pretty much accurate, here.

Mines didn't sell because I postponed offers. :P Had some work come up. But, you know how it goes: just hold out til you get what you want.
