"Dead Week" - A film by Kyle Stebbins (and company)

Awesome! Zombie goodness all around.
LOL @ the clip!

Should be a good one.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks, man. I thought people would get a kick out of that.

I dropped off the keys and $25 check to the Golds building property staff. Everything went relatively smooth, save the drywall accident.

I've put together a rough edit of what we've got and I'm starting to really get excited. I've forgotten how great film making feels. I've been spending all my time designing things!! =)

Alright dudes and ladies. I'm giving you three poorly compressed images with raw color.

light swarmage. early detection.

Also thought you guys might find humor in a little accident that occurred on set:

This take didn't make it into the final film, so I imagine this isn't grounds for disqualification to show. Plus, it's just a takeout.
If it's not permissible please tell me and i'll take it down right away. =)
The video might not be ready for awhile... vimeo is telling me its going to be processing for 170 minutes.

Awesome! Great grabs dude!

Sweet man! Thanks for sharing, I was jonesin.

I'm really looking forward to this dude, the grabs look great.

T

The best thing about zombie movies (in my humble opinion) is the cast of interesting characters that wind up fighting the zombies... a hawian shirt and a wife beater... he looks like my cousin, who 5 min before was on the couch watching Sunday night football. I love it!!!!

Spencer's performance was awesome to watch on set. Leigh and I were sitting on the sidelines while the camera was rolling the night before as well as the day with the zombies, so we essentially just got some free live entertainment. The opening of the film is great; the script was funny already, but Spencer brought it to life like I wouldn't have imagined. I got a couple pictures of Leigh trying as hard as she could not to burst out laughing while we shot the opening scene. Kyle you need to post some of those. Or send a zip file to me and I'll pick some out ;)

You know, that poses a question in my mind... tthere are a lot of elements that go into a film but how important is the actors... I Duh! you might think, but, can anyone think of a reasonably good DVX user festival entry where everything "but" the acting was good? Seriously that guy (Spencer?) looks absolutely perfect for an everyday man fighting off swarms of zombies role.

This looks friggin awesome! :) I'm pumped man!! And that dude looks a lot like Peter Jackson in that first grab...

Oh how I wish I could show some treatments I've been giving the film.

This is some of the most fun I've had on any project.

Zombification!!!!!

More BTS photos by Nate coming soon.

Man Kyle looks like a load of fun. Wishing I lived close enough to help out. I can't wait to see this bad boy...
Pauly

Thanks, Pauly. It IS a load of fun. We wish you could be here to help out, too.

I've been so consumed with this project that I haven't even been able to get online here and promote it! Nate has been prodding me to get these BTS pics online!! I'm sorry it hasn't happened yet! We've got another big shoot this Sunday and just got some shooting done tonight. (Man I wish I had Nate here to take BTS pics of the rig we had set up in my convertible driving down "O" street here in Lincoln.)

Opening titles have been roughly pieced together. My film is really starting to adopt its theme... and I'm beginning to see it all start to wrap itself up in a nice, neat, flesh-eating little package. ;)

BTS pics coming soon.

Seriously.
