First Ever Mountain Bike....... Bike Flip?

Thank you, i've seen it on bmx, some of the big names in bmx can do it but i've never seen it on a full size mountain bike.

I am hopefully going to send the footage to his sponsors tomorrow.

Deff the first one Ive seen done on a mtn bike for sure, I got a couple BMX buddies that do em and ive worked on them in the foam pit and theres a lot going on for that trick. Way cool to see that posted here!!!
 
from one rider to another, that was very impressive. The bike flip has only been done by a handful of people, including some guy in the late 80's whose name escapes me at the moment, Morgan Wade, and Zack Warden. That may as well be the first bike flip on a MTB
 
yo dory, that wasnt a whip man. Theres a dif between a bike flip and a tail whip. A bike flip is where the entire bike does a flip while the rider stay stationary in the air. I thought it was a tail whip at first to but you have to look closely. That pretty sick, especially on a mtn bike, its gotta be hard to get that thing to come around.
 
OHH! My bad.... jeasus i didnt see that... so then he did a bikeflipwhip? instead of a flipwhip? :-P.

Thanks for the comments guys, it definitely wasn't a tailwhip or a flip whip. A flip whip is a backflip tailwhip which he can also do, i'm currently editing a little montage from that day where he landed a backflip tailwhip as well.

My mate Sam who did the bike flip has watched through loads of MTB videos and said he has never seen one done on a mtb, and i searched youtube and found nothing.

The weird thing is he actually hadn't even tried it into a foam pit, he just straight up tried it on dirt.

I thought i would show you all this.

This is later on that night, when two people decided to jump him when he was drunk and with no-one around. We didn't get out of the hospital until 6.30am.
