Shot this for my boss who was making a video for the Greater Philadelphia Film Office's website (www.film.org)

I took the footage after he made his version of it and put it together to music for myself. I didn't really edit it fancy or anything, just threw the footage down.

Click here to see how short Danny DeVito really is

Sorry, only Vimeo, but it sure beats youtube.

Sweet, love it man.
Divito is a real short dude hey!!!!
You were lucky to be at a shoot like that, i'm a tad jealous!

i shot 4x3 and added bars to it. i exported it without the bars though. i thought they were using hvxs with firestores hooked to the handle but when i got closer i saw they were old dvxs. the camera man was talking about how they like the look they get from the dvxs. i think the footage goes through davinci and comes out prettty nice looking

I know that I'm missing out on something but what is it?? I'm assuming its a HBO show of some sort shot here in philly?

I may be uncultured for someone who is into filmmaking but humor me please.

hahah ya, I love the show as well. I love how the pilot was shot for like 60 bucks or something equally as rediculous and most of it was on beer and pizza.

I love this show! I bought the season 1&2 DVD pack, it's hilarious. I'm also going to buy the 3rd season when it comes out in Sept, and watch season 4. I'm actually suprised that FX bought the show. The pilot is on the DVD, they did the "Charlie Has Cancer" and the "Is that a penis in your pants?" sketches, and tbh, it wasn't THAT funny. The pilot was nothing more funny than something on youtube, but I'M REALLY GLAD that FX bought it, because they have made some great TV and I'm such a huge fan now. My favorite episode has to be "Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare"

GF got me into watching the show so we've been watching the DVDs trying to catch up so we can watch season four. Wreck2- she loves house as well.

Do they use the stock DVX?

I am not sure about the green suit. I don't even think it is meant to be a green screen. I think he just wears it. When they were rolling other actors were referring to him as Green Man on camera like that was his name

Yeah the green suit in the show is something Charlie used to wear in the "old days" and he put it on in the second (I think) season after Frank slipped acid in his drink.
