I will be editing a feature in which hopefully will make theatrical distribution.
I will be transfering clips to pcs for visual fx, so I already decided I do not want any apple pro res codecs, because they are not compatible with PCs.
Does anyone know the highest quality codecs to bbe used with 1080pa footage.
I used the easy setup and it selected I use "dvcpro hd 1080p30" codec, but there are so many options, especially that of uncompressed 8 bit which I love especially because I already have the codec on my pcs for the visual fx, and well the fact that its uncompressed.
Any recommendations or experiences to share?
