How to put film burn over clip

Hello, I am using fcp and just recently aquired a quicktime file of film burns. How do I go about putting a burn over a clip in final cut pro? Thank you so much

put it on another layer an use the luma key. If you dont have the luma key (doubt it) than lower the opacity.

All NLEs use different luma keying methods. Its just a matter of getting it right, so play around a bit.

I've been looking for some film burn clips for a while now with no luck...at least with finding good ones.
