"Dead Week" - A film by Kyle Stebbins (and company)

Wow. I really missed out. Wish I could have been there, Mark, but this week has been quite hectic with school starting up and everything. Would have been nice to meet Jeff so I could finally give him a piece of my mind...:nads:

Just kidding, Jeff. Good to see Matt out again, too, would have also been nice to chat with him again and everyone else, for that matter.

Maybe next time...

As the VFX supervisor I recently urged Kyle to blow up a Lincoln intersection practically as opposed to digitally...guerilla style of course. Not sure what the final decision is yet.

Thanks Geoff and Matty G. You guys rock. That was some wild and crazee sh*t yesterday, huh?

Travel safe, Matt.

Geoff, when you get time send me a PM so we can discuss handling the footage.

Mark

ha ha, when Matt and Geoff were here last week, they were like: "Yeah, we're shooting something with the monsters...not sure what..." Then BAM, explosions and army dudes everywhere :)

Blowing stuff up is fun... Stebbins, we should be blowing up zombies or something, right?

I'm going to try and pack as much punch as I can during this 6-minute short. I'm going to rely heavily on Nate's ability... I have total faith in the guy, I just don't want it to get to his head. ;)

I'm writing to you from campus. School started today at UNL and I'm about to enter my Native American History class. After that it's time to move down to Graphic Design from 12:30-5:20!! I'm actually looking forward to that class.

School won't hinder production time, or at least I hope, so don't worry!

Fun **** with your project, Mark. Where's the special guest?

blowing **** up kicks ass.

I've learned alot being here though.

A) making movies is really freakin hard. extremely fun though.
B) Movie dirt is just like normal dirt.
C) No matter how prepared you are for the mortar to go off it still scares the crap out of you.
D) Anything can be done if you put your mind to it. Problems will always arise, they're only obstacles if you let them be though.

This is one amazing crew. I can't say enough good things about everyone involved in the shoot. Everyone put their 110% in and it showed. I highly suggest anyone looking for a crash course in how to get a film made and make it freaking awesome look into assisting the Fat Monsters some time. Truly a pleasure to work with them all, and I'm quite sad I'll be headed back for Oklahoma. Not to say I wont be back soon though.

Nothing like the smell of napalm in the morning... or rather cork and gun powder... whatever, you get the picture. after a much needed 11 hour rest and some TLC form the hot tub... I'm just barely able to sit up and type. What an amazing wild ride! It's a lot of fun working with people who give 110% beginning to end! It's also a lot of fun putting names to faces. Scott, Jeff, Jeff A, Hudson, Matt G, on and on and on! Thanks everyone.

Awesome time.

Seeing Matt and Matty and my boy Geoff and meeting Jeff and Mike Insane and Ben ......

To much fun. Puts Black Hawk Down in total perspective of aweness and scale. My brain is already processing what I would do if given those resources.

Can't wait too see yall again. Always a pleasure.

J.R., you are one of a kind. Loved having you back on board as A.D. Call me as you get more episodes from that soap opera of a life you are living.

Mike Insane, you know how much I think of you. Getting to meet you during the O2 shoot was cool, but getting to work with you was awe-inspiring. Now that I know you have a hot tub and monster-friendly accommodations so close by, we are booking space on your floor the next time we shoot at Blue Cloud.

Scott Chambers (Elvis), you are da man. Just got off the phone with Sigloch and he said to tell you that he truly appreciated your professionalism as A.C.

And Jeff Anderson is definitely on the short list in contention for Fat Monster rookie of the year. This guy has an attitude that is everything we dream of for a monster crew member.

Kyle, I only wish you could have been out here. Thanks for letting us camp out on this thread since we don't have an entry this time around ourselves.

And I must add as have others that finally getting to put some faces with names has been a blast. Mark and Tim have been fantastic hosts and have had a blast getting to meet and hang out with the likes of John, Blaine, Mike, Geoff, Matty, Scott, Ben, and everyone else involved. Definitely some good times. Looking forward to doing this again soon. And blowing stuff up.

oh and I forgot earlier. Penguin -:nads: :)

Effin disaster.

Having a meeting this evening. Let's hope it is productive beyond the usual (cough) escapades ?

Rad time Mark. Fat Monster kicks ass.

Here's some random snaps from the iPhone on set:

INSURGENT CENTRAL: Given that this is a low budget FAT MONSTER production, our Marines had to double as insurgents. We kept a stockpile of costumes, accessories and weapons for the purpose:
