Just finished up a shoot & edit for the latest Boardlord's single, "Chinese Takeout".

View it here. If it loads too slow, you can view a lower resolution file here on Vimeo.

This is a no budget video. Green screen footage shot with the XH-A1, edited in FCP with After Effects and Keylight. Feedback/comments appreciated.

I think I was the most impressed with the quality of the key you were able to get using Keylight... Great job man..

can u tell me your settings in keylight for that sharp azz key...I can get similar results but need to rotoscope a lot of parts

Thomson, when I get home I'll check it out and put up a couple screen grabs with some of the keylight settings. I had to do some slight roto on a few of the group shots.

Overall, if you light things even, the program does all the work for you.

that video was ridiculous... but that was some of the cleanest indie greenscreen usage i've seen in quite some time! :-D

Thanks for sixty seconds of your time and the positive feedback. For Thomson: Here is a couple of AE screen grabs. Hope this helps. As you can see, I was a bit heavy-handed with my hair light in the 1st shot. Should have scrimmed it down a bit and placed it better.

If the text is too small to read, it's:
Screen Gain 145
Screen Balance 45
Pre Blur 2

Everything else is stock.

The band tells me they want to battle a team of roller derby girls for their next video. Should be fun.
