"Dead Week" - A film by Kyle Stebbins (and company)

We had a great day at Warner Bros. today...

Here's Tim and Luis on the lot:

... it was especially cool to be taken to lunch at the commissary:

... The meetings were terrific and we got to see a bunch of stuff that would probably result in our being hunted down and killed if we revealed any of it. Suffice it to say that we are extremely excited based on what all transpired today. More details when we are able to report them, I promise.

I meant to ask what you were each planning to wear at Warner Bros. I've read a billion books that tell you not to forget that YOU ARE THE ARTIST and not to dress better than the person you are meeting with. -- aaand you guys pulled it off (not a surprise). -- Though I'm still uncertain as to what (in detail) it was you were meeting about... either way, those pictures rock. That must have been so exciting for the monster.

Congratulations, guys. I can't wait to hear more.

Awesome dudes. Glad you're privvy to those awesomely cool secrets. Now you;re going to get us all worked up to know what you saw.... unless, maybe you're were drunk off your ass.... hmmm.... so can I buy you a drink? A whole bottle?

Awesome news Mark, very cool to get to eat in the commissary. I'm not all sure why I find that extemely fascinating compared to getting to be on the lot and to meet with some WB folks, but it is. Maybe I'm just hungry... Anyways keep up the good work.

Exciting news Mark. Really great to hear this. Am dying to know the nitty-gritty details...if you want to PM them to me, I swear you can kill me after. :)

Yea, it was pretty cool. The guy in charge of all theatrical production was in the next table over.

Hey man, love the poster and the way you're doing the advertising. It's sick. Good luck. I'm looking forward to this.

Thanks, Danielleus.

The design has really been our vehicle for spreading the hype (that and the help from the incomparable -- and demented -- minds at monster headquarters. i love em to death).

Making these designs has by far been the most fun I've had in a long while. Total creative freedom... and lots of gore. Al Gore.

I'm off to Seattle tomorrow morning where I will be corresponding via CeltX with Max to finish the script up once and for all. It should be a fun trip.

I'll tell you one thing... our voyage wouldn't be complete without A) A trip to Whidbey Island trying to haul an upright piano out onto the beach and B) a visit to the great Bruce Lee's grave.

Both of which are on my (silent) agenda.

Photos coming soon.

I've got to ask. What did each of you eat while there? :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I remember that Luis did the "Warner Burger," which appeared to be pretty much like any other burger. I went for the veggie soup and a caesar salad while Tim was snarfing down some sort of pasta. It was actually a really impressive menu but I didn't want to go crazy and look like a pig. I also gotta say the wait staff was incredibly attentive. I don't know if everybody gets that level of service, but it sure impressed me.

Kyle, I got another letter from Dean Petrich today saying that he would love to have you stop by Huckleberry Hill when you guys are on Whidbey and that he'd give you a tour of the place. I HIGHLY encourage you to do so as you will not see anything quite like that place again. In fact, you won't see anything quite like Deano either.
