Well drink a beer for me and I'll see you on the webcast. See if you can get a bunch of people to wear the "Robots Don't Wear Pants" t-shirts too.. that would rock

I'm still thinking about it. I want to go, and have the time. However, gas is expensive, and I work maybe 10 hour weeks for 8 bucks an hour, and spent most of what I've already earned on supplies for the film that I was supposed to be making right now. Plus, I'm 20 years old, but I barely got my driver's license 16 months ago, and just barely got over my fear of driving across town on the freeway. I think I'm ready to take the long out-of-town drive, but there's no one interested in going with me. I'm horrible when it comes to directions, and get lost easily. I can't imagine trying to drive, look at my handwritten directions at the same time, and not get lost. Plus, I can't imagine what driving around in LA traffic is going to be like, let alone getting lost in it. PLUS, I have no CD player, tape deck, or working radio in my beat-up '92 Saturn SL. I'd be driving in complete silence, with no music, or people to talk to. PLUUUUUUS, I'm really socially awkward, and have such a hard time talking (yet my films are so dialogue-heavy, you'd think I'd be good at chatting, but I'm really not) and I don't post much, so I don't know if anyone would know who I am (which would definitely hinder me from introducing myself) aside from Tom...
Hey man! I can't wait to meet you, you sound like a really positive guy!!

Just kidding dude. You should come man, it will be fun and well worth the hoopla.

You really should go. All of the dvxusers are very cool and they'll make you feel welcome, trust me. It's a cool bunch of people and there really aren't any big egos (unless Matty G shows up).

PS. Ignore that Tim guy... :)

Don't worry. I've got some behind the scenes stuff of Mr. Garrett BEFORE he made it big, running around a preschool with a DVX gaffer-taped to a Fig Rig.

Mark and I almost just worked out a way to come, but it fell through. We will now be spending our glorious friday filming promotional things the news station I work at. If I left after work, I would get there at the earliest at 10:00pm, and miss everything.

I'm out like a fat kid in dodge-ball, see you clowns tomorrow ...and whomever is picking Gary & myself up, bring cardboard sign with our names on it,......9:15 AM PST!!!

or someone who knows, call my cell
