i started a small thread before in the technical forum wondering how to transfer data from tape to my computer via usb and i was unable to get the right information. so i will rephrase my question here and hope someone can point me in the right direction.
is it possible to transfer video data from a miniDV tape to my computer via USB 2.0?
i have tried numerous times to no avail. just want to make sure it is not a problem with my camera?

p.s. i tried contacting Panasonic directly and i felt they did not know what they were talking about........hmmm.......strange. no offense to them it just seemed odd and i also did not like that i had to pay to get support for a new product!
