PUSH - Directed by Matt Sconce

Awesome! I didn't know that there was a third project. Very cool.

My tired eyes, hurting legs, sore back, dull mind, say... Oh yeah, there were three projects.:happy:

Matt, don't forget to load anything for tonight we need and we will transfer it from your van to my wagon. HVX! :violin:

We are loaded and batteries are charging.

UPDATE:
Justin got me the music rough for PUSH and it rocks. I sent some suggestions back and can't wait to hear the next draft! Justin is amazing and has captured exactly what I hoped for the Score for PUSH.:2vrolijk_08:

That is so great! I can't wait to hear it. :engel017:

Matt, be ready for possible thundershowers for tonight's shoot. They are occurring near Yosemite right now. I am going back for my small canopy to cover the camera work. Can you get your HVX 'raincoat' we made for SLEEPER? If not we will just have a grip keep near the camera with a golf unbrella.

You forgot to mention your aching fingers! You've been typing on all three of these threads!!!

Ha! Yeah. I love to chat. :)

Last night's shoots went well. PUSH VFX are almost done according to Matt, and the sound is almost done as well. Go Markus VFXicus go! Mark-Fu arise! Heiiiii-Yah!

"...Justin is amazing and has captured exactly what I hoped for the Score for PUSH..."

That's really wonderful. He is a talent. Is Mark on the remaining PUSH VFX tonight? :violin:

:kali:Push VFX... Go Mark go! I cheer you on to triumphant obliteration of the non-finished VFX condition of PUSH.

If you finish, you will officially NOT be a wuss for not riding the Hyperglide last night. You will be an anti-wuss... a true man's man. :2vrolijk_08:

I am hopeful that the lack of posts by Matt means he is busy on the final stuff for Push. Ahope ahope ahope. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I am just waiting for Mark to finish the effects and Justin to finish the score, then I will finalize sound and finish credits.

It was an awesome shoot! It looked great!

Yay! That is good news. I am so glad the pick up shots went well. Only one more scene left then. :2vrolijk_08:

HYPERJIB
Shane, I may be having to buy you a double double meal at In N Out as I priced all of my crane stuff; and with the building of the strong adjustable tripod base it will come out to a little over $165. Dang. I am opting for a tubular Hyperjib instead of a crane as it will be faster to throw together and easier to set up on set. I am going to use 10' 1 1/2" tubing and insert into it 10' 1 1/4" tubing. I am going to test an optional additional 6' base section too. Inner tubing will be shimmed for a tight fit and bolted in place when constructed on set. Support will be with cable suspension on three axes. Steering will be by hand with geared mechanical advantage to allow for 2 axis incremental camera movements in a smooth fashion. Monitor mount will allow 2 operators view of the shot. Overall Hyperjib movement will be by a grip. Third person (DP?) will run the camera zoom and focus electronically. Castors will be removable and dolly wheel sets will be attachable for rolling the whole Hyperjib on a dolly track. This rig should give our directors an ability to run the camera up to 22' with complete camera shot variability; including dollying the whole rig. YAY! :kali:

Hows the VFXing coming? I am excited about it! I am checking now to see if Justin sent me an updated score! Talk to ya soon!

I messed with it some this morning, but right now I am paying off the RED debt... talk more later.

So you're putting it on wheels? Awesome! Regular wheels, or track wheels???

Lockable caster wheels that will interchange with alternate dolly track sets. I am waiting for the end of the month to buy the stuff. :zombie_smiley:

Mark, your shots from your hard Saturday work are so wonderful! :Drogar-Happy(DBG):

Shane wants me to look for a photo of him for a new avatar for DVXuser. If anyone cares, that little guy in my avatar is me! Teeny Gary Sconce. I actually am slightly larger than that. :engel017:

Totally understand. Important stuff. I am excited about the direction you are taking with the Push Effects. They don't call you the Mark Fu Master for nothin!:kali:
