I shot 720/24PN with 48 and 60 fps but couldn't import them to fcp 6.0 but can preview it in Log and Transfer. The normal speed 24 fps was no problem. Anyone please help me I need to send the footages to client this week.... Thanks in advance

When you say you couldn't import them, could you explain what the problems was?

And are you on 6.0.2 or later?

Do you have FXFactory installed?

If so, what version?

I use FCP 6.0 and don't have FXFactory installed. When use log and transfer FCP wont allow me to drag and drop the files on P2 to the queue and there's no setting that I can change. What is FXFactory by the way? Do I need it? Thank you very much

FXFactory is a set of plugins that created some issues briefly with FCP/Motion for some users.

I can't think of any reason why you can't import your frame rate changed clips vs. your normal clips. Is it spanned to a second card that isn't loaded?

In all fairness, one release of FXFactory created p2 import problems.

The company released a fix within a week that resolved that issue

Raylight for Mac ( http://dvfilm.com/raylight/mac ) will allow you to import those clips into FCP. You can also get it to slow the footage down to 24 fps if that's what you want or leave the frame rate unchanged.

That means Fcp 6.0 can't import high speed from p2 card. I am wondering when I worked with fcp 5.04. it could import all different frame rate well. Do I need to buy the raylight? or reinstall 5.04?
