BONUS CLIP!

This clip won't be included on the DVD... sadly I didn't have the time to add this great little snippet in of the amazingly talented Justin Durban creating a piece of music for Smuggler's... you can hear this piece of music in one of the menus on the DVD...

Brandon,

Congratulations on your project and your distribution!

Thanks for the 'Bonus Clip' of Justin in his 'environment'. He makes it look so easy, and yet his stuff is so beautiful, moving, and sometimes epic!

Great job, and I understand that you have another project completed and going to distribution?

Hey!

Thanks, and I am working on another feature, NO GREATER LOVE... and we haven't secured distribution yet.. we're in talks with the company who we worked with on SMUGGLER'S but we'll see... at this stage in the game, we aren't quite established enough to get distribution BEFORE they see the film... however in about a month and a half it will be close to done and sent out to everyone.

Thanks for checking the thread, and the clip out! And good luck in TIMEFEST as well!

HA!!! One of those lost pieces of music. I wonder if I have that clip online anywhere?

(or better yet... if I even finished it)

congrats on all the success of SR Brandon.

cheers,

How is the distribution going? I have a few friends that have gotten distribution but only got locked in a 5 year contract and never saw any money.

Well, we're locked into 7 years ;)

We have already made back the $ we needed to cover the costs of everything in the production, and made a little bit back as well... with the advance we got... I am pretty confident in our distributors being up and up with us, they're straight folks.

I'll let you know more after Smuggler's is released as well.

New Web Featurettes!

First I want to thank this awesome community for their constant encouragement throughout the journey that is Smuggler's Ransom... along the way we've made some great new friends, and worked with some awesome people here on DVXuser.

This film would not have been made were it not for this site!

We would love if you would pick a DVD up, or at least check it out on Netflix. Hope you enjoy!

This is what you'll see when you get the DVD!

I want to give a shout out to DVXuser member Daniel Skubal, who did a lot of the concept art which led to the front DVD cover. Thanks Daniel! Great work!

Brandon,

I must say congratulations again on the release of Smuggler's Ransom. I'll be sure to purchase the DVD.

I noticed that there are not many California churches screening the film? Any particular reason or maybe later dates?

Not sure why not many CA church's are doing it.. this is pretty much all the church's who will be screening the film, and the DVD released June 10...

Speaking of which, I just received 30 copies of the finished DVD... it looks awesome! It's such a cool feeling seeing your film finished!
