Hello all, just got my first Short W/ the SgPro filmed on monday night, filmed for about 4 hrs. starting at 10pm, so we got out of there at about 2:30AM and I had School the next day. Shoot went pretty smooth, as of right now I only have production pics, but I will try to get some grabs up tonight sometime. It is a comedy, If you guys have any comments or questions I will be glad to answer, Im the guy in Red. Im going to try to make a film soon with the HV20 and the SgPro next week.... Shot, edited and turned in to local film festival in 4 days. A few shots I am kinda disappointed with(lighting and exposure on my end), but for the most part it came out pretty nice for my first film with the SG, pretty funny I hope! film will be up soon.

the still of the sword is AWESOME, I like them all, but that one really really looked like it came straight out of a hollywood movie !!!!

Would like to see some of the footate.

Nikon 50mm 1.4, 35mm 2.8, 28 2.8, 20 3.5, All nikkors except for the 20mm Vivitar, thank you for the kind words. The sword is on of the few scenes that had proper exposure. Also these have not been color corrected in any way.

i dont like how the guy in the yellow jackets head got cut off in the second shot
other than that i think it looks awesome.
the girl in yellow and the asian guy look real good on camera, are they real actors or friends

I thought it was pretty funny, but the audio sounded a little echoy. What mic did you use? Because the one in the pictures looks like a very good one.

Ya the audio seemed strange

Ya the audio seemed strange

Looked great, sound needed some more tweaking, actors were good. I would personally cut while actors are in some sort of motion I found it to be kinda jumpy in the cuts, that said I thought it was good. Keep it up.

Sound ?

Sound ?

Im with the other guy .. what mic wer you using i wouldnt recommend using the one on the camera .. as that sounds like what you used .

Thaks guys, Well the framing problem was just my bad, The echoing audio was because I did a shot where I had to do a hand held but I still wanted to have audio so I put the cam to its internal mic. But when I did a few scenes I forgot to put it back to input 2, I would have cleaned it up but just lack of time screwed it all... lol. Working on another film right now, Have a week to finish it, more like 4 days, but It should be good.

Any more comments would be great, I love to hear them for future shoots, I must remind tho, this was shot and edited in 3 days.... Thus there is still room for improvements I know. I didnt even CC yet...
