Darkness, My Old Friend (2008)

Good work! Movie was great! Funny, poignant and touching. Lit very well, edited damn good with timing done very well for the comedy.

Loved how it looked and can't wait for this on DVD to go with my "Girl From Yesterday" DVD.

Now get me them on Blu-ray and well be in business!!! lol

If you guys are wondering how the film is going, we're just waiting for Alan to fine-tune our sound mix, and then the film is ready to roll. Stay tune!

Hi all, I'm Irene, the writer/director on "Darkness, My Old Friend," and I'm just dropping in to thank everyone and hope that those who got to see it found the experience an enjoyable one.

I pulled some awesome focus on this film for Huy.

aka I helped him shoot one scene, and then the other one I helped him with was reshot. I frickin' nailed that 5 point dolly move too Huy...

Oh well, I ended up seeing this film at the screening they had and was pretty pleasantly surprised. Came out really well guys.

Hi Ryan! Thanks for helping out  Fun times all around, and I'm happy you caught the showing!

We've been getting lots of positive feedback and people seem to think we should submit to festivals. Unfortunately, I know oh-so-little about the process; any suggestions?

If we are planning to submit, should we NOT make this film available online?

The trailer doesn't appear to be working for me :(

Sorry about that. I forgot to set the trailer to stream so it'll download the entire file first before playing. It's about a 20 mb file. If you right click and save it should work.

WOW, the final picture looks gorgeous! So far I've watched it 7 times in a row and it gets better and better each time. Love it.

Thanks for all your work on sound, Alan! It turned out great.

It struck me quite suddenly that Ben never did explicitly return that credit card back to Jarrod...

Shadiness.

Good to hear you enjoyed it Irene. The first premier had a huge response from the audience and so did the second night. The final film itself should be the one we're all excited about.
