"CONSTANCE" Brought to you by BPress- Krew East Side! Mark Harris and Timur Civan.

[Ted Arabian]

It is an awesome shot! One of those, "Wow! Thanks for taking that picture of me... that rocks!" shots.

[Marlon Ladd]

Aw, man.

[TimurCivan]

yea except.... whenever i take pictures on set, mark is like, "enough with the pictures" but then he gets gangsta photos of himself.... problem is if omeone took a picture of me in that scene, people would say, whose the bald gwky guy running from the burning kitchen.....marks power is his amazing hair.

[Geoff_R]

well that above shot is not actually in the movie, Marlon. That was as still shot timur got of me walking back to the camera to look at the shots.

That looks like a shot out of American Gangster or something...who are you about to kill?

[Matt Harris]

this looks great! i really love the grabs; shot composition and lighting. lookin forward.

[Mark Harris]

thanks man, we can't wait to show it when the fest opens!

[Mark Harris]

That looks like a shot out of American Gangster or something...who are you about to kill?

The question you should be asking yourself is: Who did I JUST kill?

[Danielleus]

Killa. Gangsta. Contanc...a?????

[Marlon Ladd]

.....marks power is his amazing hair.

So, he's like Sampson, then?? Cut his hair and it's a wrap.

[Mark Harris]

Just do NOT tell my girlfriend that.

[Mark Harris]

Hey all, just wanted to say that since we are exhibit only, I have a link to external viewing in my sig. A 720 HD version of the film in DivX, which is really sweet even at full screen.

Here: http://www.desperatecomfort.com/constance.html

This is traditionally where I get banned, so know that I did clear it all with the Fest Gods.

[Kholi]

LOL.

Traditional Mark Harris Fest banning.

[Jack Daniel Stanley]

[Ted Arabian]

Dude, I didn't know that your film was a NC. Why is that?

[Herman Witkam]

It's 11 mins.

[Ted Arabian]

Oh! That would explain a NC rating!

[Jack Daniel Stanley]

Great acting, Great story, Great camera, Great lighting. Very cinematic strongest work yet.

Congrats. Very impressive.

The first timelapse montage sequence is amazing. Breathtaking. In fact all of the montages and sequences are put together quite well.

I think the transitions from one sequence to another can be further developed however. If there's room for improvement, I think that's where it is. Right now it feels a small bit like a series of amazing sequences rather than an event that begins and continues like a continuous line.

The acting was great. It was a smaller role than we've seen him in in the past but I think Godfrey really topped himself.

Mark Riccadonna really was well cast and was really believable.

The mob guy in the strip club - great.

Female lead - great.

Some of Timur's best most natural yet highly evocative work yet.

Very CINEMATIC. Very nice. Very impressed. Congratulations guys.

I was watching and it stopped to "buffer" so i came in here to say that if this thing keep marching along at this level, I would have voted for it.

[Jason Ramsey]

I really don't have much to say here, b/c this film was totally above my level to be able to give any kind of suggestions.

This was definitely, by far, the most cinematic thing I have seen from you yet. It looked and felt great, and I just didn't see any weak points. It was a total package, and extremely well-executed.

I can't say anything other than compliments, so I just want to say that again. I really, really enjoyed this, and think that it's not only the best I've seen you do on many levels, but some of the best stuff I think I've seen on DVXuser.

Thanks for putting this in the fest. Seriously....

Oh... and by the way... you're banned.

Later,
Jason
