WHERE THE HEART LIES ... Johnson, Hyten, Golden & Bullis

Awoke at 8 am to get an early start on editing.

Mark flys to San Jose at 10 am.

Start having problems w/ our machine at 10 20 am.

Mark flys back at 7 pm-Computer-less.

Troubleshoot on machine until 1 30 am.

Called over Oliver the savior to use his machine.

Start editing at 2 am.

Lookin good.

So you didn't lose any of your editing work, right? Really sucks what happened, Mark. Just hearing about stuff like that makes my blood boil.

Luckily we had the edit backed up. However, we were having severe trouble being able to render anything out (FCP kept crashing). Finally, Oliver Noble brought his MacBookPro laptop over and Tim was able to get it working. So it was a bit of a scare, but everything seems to be going fine. We should be able to upload today without any difficulty and even have some time to work on optimum compression.

Morning has broken
Hyten's still sleeping
Zonked on the pillow
From all the Jim Beam

(sung to the tune of Cat Stevens' Morning Has Broken)

Disjecta!!!! It's just like Huckleberry Hill ... except no friggin' clowns or bizarre hippie neighbors. WISH YOU WERE HERE you old boot.

The real question is, can this thread hit 1000 responses before the deadline. Don't let me down now your so close!

Well, 21 posts more to go. Probably just enough time for me to go to the toilet.

This thread totally freaks me out. When I wake up in the morning, check the board and we've got like 5 pages of new posts in this thread. :D

You think this thread is huge, you should see mark and ted's drama fest thread. It is the most viewed (or replied to, can't remember which) thread on dvxuser.

later,
Jason
