"Love" a new short film by Ted Arabian

ted, i'm really curious about the content of this one. you haven't drop any hints as to the story have you? or did i miss it?
 
No... have not given any hints of the story line! Let's just say that this short film is a cross between Harlequin Romance and The Red Shoes Diary!

Today I had a Hillary event to light and she was very, very late. I was delighted that I brought my laptop and harddrive... I got a lot of editing down today!

I see a lot of things that I wish that I could re-shoot. I guess we always do. But in my case, having the responsibilities of directing, DPing, lighting and monitoring sound... I failed to do all four jobs effectively.

There are some things that I can fix... with ADR and cropping.

There are some things that I cannot fix. These things will be in the film but certainly not on a demo reel!



The film is coming out as I imagined, if not better! I cannot believe the performances I got from my actors! GREAT JOB!

I keep trying to find a one sentence synopsis... I am getting close!

I saw some shots and this will probably be the best art directed at the least. The story is really strong so now its up to Ted to do it justice in the editing.
 
Thanks Aram! I am glad that you liked the footage and feel that the story is strong. It is so funny that I wrote it to be so simple that I could shoot it in a day or two and produce it in 3 weeks! And because of it's simplicity, it is really coming out nicely!

I do hope that I do justice to the editing... there is so much that I want to use!!! :evil:

Hey Brandon, it is really hard for me to tell anyone what the story is about. The scene is so short. But there is a story... :)
 
Hey Ted, your acting was very touching in the performance you gave me, I think it is going to evoke a tear or two, nice job.

How's the edit coming on Love?

Uh-Oh! I just picked-up 4 more Hillary gigs over the next 2 days! I wanted to say no so I could work on my film but the money is very nice!

I will do my best to have this entry ready! May not make the cut-off time. :cry: But I will submit it for exhibition on my own server if I have to.

Well, no guarantees on this getting done in time. Just had these 4 Hillary gigs extend through Saturday night. I will do my best to edit this on the road. Music...? May not happen. :cry:

I'll do my best to have this ready by Sunday.
 
Damnit Ted! Well, that's okay, it's all good. Do your thing and make that money. We look forward to seeing the film whenever it's finished.

Don't worry.... I WILL be presenting something. I just don't know how ready I'll be by Sunday. I may have to host and post myself when the films are ready. That's not my desire... just my back-up plan.
