New DVX100b--Barry Green/MB rebate no good?

Hi all, newbie here--

Just bought a DVX100B from reseller, when I received it, there was a rebate form for Barry Green's book/MB software. From what I've seen online I now realize that there was a purchase cut-off date of 12/31/07, and I made the purchase a week ago. But the form said to fill out and post date by 1/31/08--which I did.

Was that form only in there because, the resellers purchased that before the cut-off date?

I've already got MB software, so I could care less about that--but this Barry Green bible that I've read about is a MUST have!! Especially for a new user of the DVX100.

I really don't want to wait for 15-25 days to find out that I'm not going to receive anything-- I JUST WANT THE BOOK.

So, if that means I have to buy it I will!

BUT, if there's a slight possibility that this rebate would go through for some reason or another--obviously I'd like to wait--(and save a few bucks).

I may have already answered my own questions in here--but if anyone can shed any light on this, it would be great!

Thank you ahead of time for your attention and response!

Barry Green's book is defiantly worth the cash...Buy it and if your other comes in sell it in the Marketplace?

Hi Zack,

There really isn't a cut off date. Go tothe website that is on the form that was in the box and sign in.

My Legal department won't let me put something out with out an ending date, so don't worry, it continues.

Best,

Jan

Thank you all very much for your responses!

Wow, Jan that's great news--thank you very much for the heads up, I really appreciate it.

So, I've filled out the form and sent it in last week--do you think it's possible that I can log in to website and beat the mail-in?

And if so, would that just cancel out my hard copy once it reaches rebate center?

--I almost just went and bought it.

Can't wait to read this thing

Thanks again everyone!!

Cheers!

if you know how to RTFM you can actually get most of the info from the manual ;-)
I do however appreciate this forum for DVX users because of the community support and tips and tricks stories. Plus somewhere there is a person here who made one of the best and clearly written overall explanations about video filming I have ever seen.....just look around in here.....
