Greetings. .! Just purchased a Panasonic HVX camera and inadvertently formatted the P2 card as an SD memory card. the camera is now reading the P2 card as an "incompatible card." Is there a way to reverse the error or re-format the P2 card? Any wisdom is most appreciated. . .!:

Someone mentioned reformatting it by setting it on VCR and then following the sub-options, but that's as far as they were able to tell me. how would i reformat it in the camera?

Don't think it was done correctly, but don't really know how to reformat it. ..what is the correct way to reformat a P2 card inadvertently formatted as an SD card? or is it irreversible. .? thanks!

1. Power up camera in P2 mode. (With P2 card plugged in)
2. Turn the camera to VCR mode. (Press the little black button that is under the Scene File wheel once. The screen will go blue for a moment)
3. While in the VCR mode press Menu then functions (I think it's function but may be something else) then format, then choose the correct slot. (slot 1 is the top, slot 2 is the bottom) say yes to format and it should work.

If that doesn't do it then you need to reformat it in a computer as a P2 card, I am not sure how that is done.

4. Read your manual/HVX guide, most questions you'll ever have can be answered by reading them.
