Information and poster are on their way.
This is my first dvxuser fest entry,
so I'm pretty excited.
EDIT:
We're shooting on a dvx-100a, no 35mm attachments.
Story: A battle with cancer lost. A love life on the rocks. God-awful timing on both parts. Nicole Andrews
and Mike Carrington are on their absolute last thread in their relationship. Will Mike be able to confess
his numerous errors in the relationship and begin to find a balance between Nicole and himself, whatever that may
happen to mean?
In writing the script, I based it, in parts, on the real life events of a close friend and the awful roller coaster
he and his girlfriend went through as the girl's mother battled cancer (and eventually lost), her moving on to
college in another city, and their constant internal struggle because of a dramatic difference in social class.
UPDATE: It looks like "Quip", after shooting about 70% of it and having the music half-way done, may not have a final realization. Some unique circumstances have left us probably unable to finish shooting the rest of the film. It looks like I may be dropping out of this fest.
