SD card unusable after firmware update?

I updated my HVX to 4.06 firmware. All went fine. But I was using a good 2GB SD card and now I can´t use it anymore, because it is writeprotected.
the cam doesn´t reformat it, in the PC it appears writeprotected. Even rightclicking and unchecking the write protection in the properties of the card doesn´t help.

Anyone have an idea? next time i use an old 64MB card....
 
Are you sure there's not a switch on the card itself? Try formatting it in a still camera or something unrelated.

you guys were right. I don´t know how, but somehow must have flipped the switch when inserting it into the cam.
