The Devil Wears Prada - Music Video (QUICKTIME)

Woow first of all amazing job on the video, it just shows how much I need to learn ,now some questions,
what was the format you shot this in? the slowmo only could be 960 by 720? camera settings? white balance?
The camera shakes and movement did you do that in post?
What was the budget for this?
I just finished a music video,by looking at your videos, I need tol learn a lot more,

We shoot 720pn. really we dont ever mess with camera settings. we usually have very minimal camera settings - close to stock. we do all of our color in post - we just try to light it in a way that doesnt flatten the image and then coloring it comes pretty easy. white balance is the same, we just white balance and keep it as is.

camera movements are in camera - we mess with the camera on set.

cant really say the budget for this but it wasnt big - we pulled some favors

i checked out your video - the effects looked really nicely done. some of your shots were great - like the bridge shot - how'd you do that?

thanks!

Great video. Though what is up with all these bands that just scream. Completely ruins any music.

We used a Helicopter for that shot, what was the framte rate used 24 or 30?

Nicely done! I've edited music videos so I have a great appreciation for it and that editing job was fantastic.

WHat did you do ofor the rain sequence? How'd you pull that off, it's something I've always wondered how to do.

for the lens flare, I don't even know what to call them, but the lines that cut in was that done in AE, if so just a little nudge in the right direction?
vid looks killer.
Thanks.

Hey Endeavor,
once again you showed everyone on this board, that not being able to shoot film and not having a big budget at hand, is no reason not to produce amazing work!
You´re an inspiration, my respect!

PS judging your resume so far I REALLY hope that you make a good living off your shooting, you truely deserve it...

Wow, thank you sooooo much. We're really trying hard to make it here on the east coast in a city not know for film - but we aren't making a good living off what we do yet, hopefully someday! We just have alot of people here that support what we're trying to do and help us out. Again thank you!

not sure if that is a question - maybe i'm reading it wrong

but we did that effect in Flame - but yes - it could be done in after effects for sure. we just experimented with alot of things that would be like "digital noise" to go along with the sounds in the music

Oh trust me I know, I'm in Baltimore and the indie scene is just sarting to blow up, thankfully we're right in the middle of it and it's a great time to be a indiefilmmaker!

awesome job on the video!

i've been checking out the other videos on your site too, they're all pretty good.

just curious, where was the location for the TDWP video? an old school or something? dayton? cincy? those kids are from my area, so i'm curious to see if it was shot around here or elsewhere.

Fing good video. The screaming guy gave me a headache (sounded like my mom) but other than that I liked the energy of the song and I liked the kid who actually sang with some melody. Video was outstanding though. Really well done. Were the digital errors in the song or added for the video?
