Although I have not received the $500.00 rebate, nor the training DVD from Panasonic yet, I did go and buy the books and DVD, which was one of the best things that I have done!
Not having a camera with this type of power left me in the dark, but Berry;s book and DVD has really help, I can say that I have had noting but fun with it all.
thanks berry!!

Yeah, I'm thinking about buying the book and DVD now too. I just got my camera on Tuesday and can't imagine waiting months to get the book/DVD.

Anyone know how long it's taking to get the book/dvd and Magic Bullet now?

I am not sure how long it takes to get all that, but I can say that it is too long to wait.
Got my book and DVD from amazon.com in a couple of days and it was the best thing I did, besides getting the 100B.
I have also checked out Amazon.com for more books and got them also.
Haveing all kinds of fun!!!

I just got my book, dvd and magic bullet program, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Bought my book and dvd in Jan. so I could start learning the camera to it's full power, which is a lot.
On the dvd you will learn how to set the camers , scene files, to come very close to magic bullet.
Before I got the book, I was going to spend a lot of money for filters, but that would have been money out the door!
Like I said, THIS CAMERA HAS A LOT OF POWER, all you have to do is learn and experiment with it.
HAVE A GREAT DAY AND HAVE FUN LEARNING.

i was at the panasonic showcase at sydney DMF, after hearing you there i had to register here.

it also made me want to buy your book.
even though i dont own a camera, the info you gave at the showcase was invaluable.

and i now also know which type of camera i would buy if i ever do.

so when i have enough money i will diffinatly buy your book

Just wanted to say thanks to Barry for creating such an informative video. I chose not to go to film school and sites like DVXuser and books like Barry's are what's making it possible for me to learn. Really enjoyed the sections on panning and what not, the whole seven second rule was new to me....Im going to have to get some more books for other tidbits like that one.

Anyone whose new to film making and new to the DVX, this book is a must it will really help. Saves a lot of time instead of searching around the net hoping for answers.

Thanks for making such an informative DVD and book Mr. Green : )

Henry.

Hi Barry,My name is Scott and was wanting to purchase your book and DVD but am fairly new to all the technical dide of things and you would use NTSC and i use (In Australia) PAL and was wondering if 1. You post to Australia and 2. is all your descriptions in NTSC and not PAL and does it matter ? Look farward to hearing from you Regards Scott Holwell
Could you reply to my email if possible sholwell@yahoo.com thanks!

1) Yes I send to Australia, but you may also be able to find it at some dealers in Australia already -- including John Barry, Lemac, and VideoGuys.

2) I tried to cover NTSC and PAL equally.

Are there different versions of this, or just the one? Is there one that only covers the 100, one that covers the 100 and 100a, and then this one?

There were two versions. The original, then an updated version that added the DVX100B. The early version hasn't been in print for years, the only version offered is the one that includes the DVX100, DVX100A, and DVX100B (both PAL and NTSC).

Is there a way to order WITHOUT paypal? I kinda hate them. My account is banned because someone in Russia logged into it. Anyhoo, is there another way? I didn't see anywhere.
