Lost footage with P2 Genie

First of all, let me say that I really like this application and was going to buy it today. Unfortunately, there is a glitch I want to resolve first...
I downloaded the demo version of P2 Genie and ran it through a couple tests... Worked great! However, yesterday I took it to a dress rehearsal to run lighting tests.
Silly me. I forgot to turn on my destination drive. The disturbing part is that P2 Genie did not tell me that the destination drive could not be found and it acted like it was going through the entire process as if it was. I thought that maybe that P2 Genie has put the footage somewhere on my laptop drive, but I can't find it. Any one else had this problem?
Help! I need to get this footage to the DP.

Thanks,
-Jeff

Was that the Mac or PC version? The two versions are being worked on by separate developers, and what affects one version won't necessarily affect the other -- the codebase is completely different.

There is an overdue update that adds compatibility with 16GB cards, hopefully your problem has been addressed as well.

I know that Mac version does that. I was transferring footage in Yellowstone and realized I didn't have the same drive plugged in but P2 Genie went through all the motions like it was copying. Luckily for me I realized what was going on and didn't lose any footage.

I'm using a MAC 1.33 gHz G4 laptop, OSX 10.04.10, 4GB card.

I just discovered that if click on "destination" within P2 Genie and navigate in the P2 Genie finder, the path is going to a folder called "Volumes". However, If I try and search for the Volumes folder in the MAC OS finder, it cannot be found. Odd, ay?

Yes, this is a known bug with p2 genie, I have a script that i think i got from anders called find hidden volumes that will reveal the volumes p2 genie created and you will e able to copy from them then delete them. send me a pm with your email and I'll send the script to you

Thanks y'all...
Command Shift G > then " /volumes" worked beautifully. Now I'm ready to buy, but the MAC version has been pulled off the shelf. I guess it's back to the old way of doing things.

Ciao
