I'm selling a brand new HVX-200 Camera package...

The camera only has 3 hours on it. It comes with Barry's Book and the 16 gig P2 card.

It also comes with the Storm im2700 hardcase with the foam pre-cutouts made for the camera.

Also the package comes with a Cartoni Action Pro Tripod (retailed for $1300). And finally the package comes with a Porta-Brace Tripod Bag.

I'll sell the camera and P2 Card for $5200...

This is the 4th camera I'm selling. I love the camera so I buy it. I sell it when I need some quick cash. Then I buy another when I can afford it again. The only thing that's pertinent here is that I have 0 complaints, so I'm doing good business with the members. So as long as I'm legit, I can buy and sell 1000 cameras if I want.

I bought an hvx package from him last October. He is very legit.

very very, legit, I bought mine from him as well in Febuary, only about 2 hours on the head, came with half the package contents unopened. He also has a great personality.

this package is actually pretty cheap considering the type of tripod that is. brand new the card and tripod is about $2200, so yes thats a deal.

that doesn't make much sense to do that, i mean don't you loose money doing that??
 
I don't know why I'm explaining myself, but here goes. The way my business works. I may have a short term thing to shoot. When you figure out what the rental would be for me, it it absolutely better to buy the camera, then sell it after the shoot. Trust me, I was a math major in college. It works just fine. For the record, I've sold the package to a really nice guy in NY.

I bought the package and he was a pleasure to do business with. He was very responsive and easy to reach by phone. I also agree with the price of purchase/resell vs renting. Once you figure in the daily or weekly rates (it adds up quickly) you can estimate that the difference would actually end up being more expensive renting (figure for a 21 day shoot plus possible re-shoots). I plan on selling the HVX once my feature is over (and even if I sell it VERY cheap it will be worth it as opposed to renting; also I know how rented equipment is treated and I treat all of my equipment with great care).
