Wellen & Noethen Germany has it listed for 4347 Euro excl. VAT link
BPM-Media Germany has a demo unit for 4200 Euro excl. VAT link
It is now about 5'500 Euro everywhere incl. VAT

Can I trust wellen & noethen delivers abroad? (I live in Finland)

Can anyone verify, that I can trust to that reseller so that I don't need to travel to Berlin to get my money back if they fail to deliver? :P (Berlin is not so far away and I like german beer, but this time I'm not in the mood for traveling...) :)
 
Wellen and Noethen is one of the biggest suppliers in germany. So don't worry. They are worth a try. Call them and talk to them. It won't hurt ;-)

I'll call them tomorrow. Actually, I could pick it up from Köln if they have one in store after three weeks.

In finland, the HVX200 costs from 6200 to 7200 euros inc. VAT. That price is insane, because I could fly to germany to buy it and the price is still much cheaper than here...

(So what kind if trip I could have to Köln or Berlin with 2000e extra money I save, when not buying the camera from Finland? :D)

has anyone had any experience with bpm...judging from the web seems like a good company to me....I wonder if they are an authorized dealer for panasonic...can't find the info on their site...

and btw what does a demo unit stands for? is it reliable to buy one?

For that little amount of discount, I wouldn't buy a demo unit. Who knows how many times it's been dropped on the floor, etc... But of course that unit can also be perfect, who knows... :)

It seems, that W&N is few euros cheaper, if you buy a new one. ;)

has anyone bought an hvx200e from global media pro...they have a very appealing price 3.490euros....which is far less than links from above
