My 16 gB P2 Rebate card came in!

I just got mine in today. I bought the camera at the end of March and got my card just now. I guess I've had better luck than some but it wasnt that bad of a wait for me.
 
i just recived my rebate today. i woke up and thought it was my one from bh and was like, "damn that is some fast shipping" then i looked at the address! very exciting though ill. i'll be rocking both of mine on monday :)
 
mine came in today as well... i'm too psyched... just like when i ordered crap out of the back of boy's life...
 
When did you guys send in your infor. I bought my HVX the last part of March and sent in the paperwork March 31. I got my letter confirming my upgrade to 16GB about May 15. Still no P2 card for me. I'm starting to get a little upset. I love the fact that I got an upgrade but I need that card.
 
I registered March 20th, got the letter mid May, but haven't heard anything else. Wish there were cards to even buy anywhere. What method of shipping did they use to those who got it?

I don't understand this. How is it that I sent my paperwork in two weeks before you and you have your card and I still don't have mine?

Anyone know a number to call to check status?
 
same situation here. I don't think there is anything we can do. It will come and we will recover. Hang in there.
 
Hey guys... i feel like I'm in the worst situation here... I submitted my rebate in February and still haven't received my card. Anyone know how to contact Panasonic directly... this is truly unacceptable.
 
The direct # is 1-866-339-4296. Central standard time.

This place is/was great! NO VOICE MAIL HELL. You would get a real person, or worse-yet, leave a message, and they call you back the next day. On two separate times, a very helpful person would put me on hold, go grab a list, then tell me based on my confirmation # when my card would come. My conf.# is 18***, and according to them, I should have been on the next round of deliveries. That was a month ago, and now they don't answer the phone at all (or at least I can't get through for the past 2 weeks, no returned calls either like before). I think they're swamped with calls/complaints. I pre-ordered one here in the Bay Area for a fair price--they tell me they'll absolutely get this shipment on the 27th of July, so perhaps me and some of the people on this board can hope for something in the mail next week.

Mine came in on Friday!!! Patience pays, and glad Panasonic is moving these forward. Ordered on 3/26/07, problem with online registration, called and worked out the issue in April. Now off to shoot some more!!!

The cards that were supposed to arrive from Japan to L.A. today, and by way of truck make it up here to San Francisco, have been, "Damaged due to the fire and earthquake that destroyed the warehouse."

Bad news.



Then again, I probably sound like a jerk wanting my P2 card while people get rocked by an earthquake.

Anyone know where to buy one for a fair price?

has anybody posted an actual link to a story about this "Earthquake/fire"

That story seems like its been around a while now- the cards that were suppposed to be on that truck would have left Japan what, 2-3 weeks ago? A month? Long enough for you to have known you wouldnt be getting them TODAY in LA.

Is Panasonic capable of letting us know WHEN they are going to be back online with card manufacturing/distributing and when we can expect to be able to walk into a store and BUY them :) Just wondering

I love my HVX --bottom line -- the P2 thing has been a touch bothersome.
 
I've been unable to find any link to a story about Panasonic property destroyed by an earthquake/fire. If anyone has the link to a real story, I'd like to know. Unless Panasonic's dog ate the link.

I am still waiting for my 16GB P2 after 17 weeks and counting. In my opinion, it sure is bad business to "hold" cards for new cameras and/or distributors when Panasonic already has obligations to HVX buyers to fullfill their free cards.

All I know is that Panasonic owes me (and a lot of other people) a P2 card and I am not seeing it and totally in the dark about when I will receive it. Meanwhile, I am missing out on HD jobs and HD stock shots that I need to make a living.

This is rediculous.
 
well It has been over 6 months for me , Jan Critten called me in april and said 4 weeks , Nothing still I did get a guy named

he claims he sent it overnight that was last monday July 30th/07
Then I had another guy call me from panasonic USA said he was James Pachini from new York he claims he sent ups that was Monday also, I called him back No return phone call.
I have also left Jan an email no response from her.
I feel like I am being lied to big time....anyone else ????
