Junipero: The Last Son of Celestie

For those of you who live in the bay area and would like to see the movie, it will be showing at the Coppola Theater in San Francisco May 14 & 15!

alrighty i have three films showing:

junipero: 05/14 @ 10am
the crimes of mr lowery: 05/15 @ 2pm
the last son of celeste: 5/15 @ 4pm

"junipero: 05/14 @ 10am
the crimes of mr lowery: 05/15 @ 2pm
the last son of celeste: 5/15 @ 4pm"

Isn't Junipero part 1 of Celeste?

Shouldn't they be shown back to back? or at least closer.

This way is such a tease to have to wait all day to see the next episode! :D

Is there an admission fee?

admission is free. don't worry about it, celeste was made so it can stand on its own but seeing junipero would be a nice bonus!

On the last shot, when your hero was openning the box...what program did you use to get that light effect. and how did you do it.

Ha!! It's your music in there too. :) Now... go out there, get you a couple million dollars budget and set aside a small chunk for the score. ha!!

best of luck!

Hey Marlon, first off, HOLY SH%T!!!

You make me run away with my tail between my legs with my A1 work. Excellent work!

I was wondering how you did a certain effect. I've seen it done in movies all the time, I just don't know what is being manipulated to make it look that way.

It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll try.
It's a type of slow-motion, I guess where it seem like the shutter or something is being messed with.
Are frames being doubled?

I just pulled up your film again. You do it several times, but one that I picked out is around the 8 minute and 6 through 12 second spot when the girlfriend tells the guy that she will find him.

Can you help me in telling how you did that? I really would like to use that effect in a piece I'm doing that is do this friday and would hope it can be done in post.
Let me know if you got a moment.

THANK YOU!!!
