NAB 2007 - Las Vegas, Nevada - April 16-19 *** PARTY DETAILS ANNOUCED***

Yes I am a DVX and NAB NOOB and yes I will be there.......sweet!!!
Just out of curiosity, how dressy is this convention.....should I bother with a tie or is it pretty lax??

Dress depends on who you are meeting and what you are doing.

The best advice would be to dress professionally for your profession.
A business manager wouldn't be at all out of place in a suit & tie, however a camera operator might be.

Run an Isara/Google Image Search for NAB and you'll get the idea.

Though keep in mind that you will be on your feet and walking most of the day. So make sure that you can keep cool, and most importantly of all: Wear comfortable shoes!

I'm going to be there from the 17th-19th. I'm driving in from AZ and have hooked up a condo about 15 minutes away. Not too bad. I was going to stay at the Wynn, which has amazingly comfortable rooms, but it's just too pricey.

Jarred said he'd have another hospitality suite, but we haven't heard any updates on that.

How long will it take for you guys to get kicked out this year?:engel017:

I've updated the first post of the thread to visibly represent when people (who have spoken up) will be attending. Looks like most people will be present towards the start of the week.
