Thanks David. Its good to be here. We both wear all kinds of hats. I would say Jeremy is the more creative brother and I am more the technical brother. We are both creative and technical but on set when it comes to crunch time and one of us has to talk to the actors and one of us has to go build a hovering lighting rig, Jeremy deals with the actors and I find the gaffers tape and a fan and get to work. We both share editing duties. When it comes time to sweeten we split up, I head to the Audio Studio and he starts the color correction. But for the most part we are a team.

That is awesome that you guys have that coen bro's kind of collaboration going on. It is rare, and I love seeing that you can function almost as if you are one director.

It's funny, cause I also have a (younger) brother doing something similar to what I do. He's not composing yet, but playing a lot of music.

I just caught up on your thread - I read the whole thing.
now I'm jealous! everything you've done so far looks good - from the scout photos, to the storyboard art, to the equipment (including the car battery).

Its cool to see the progress of the film. I don't know about the brake dust thing since they still put asbestos in brake pads. I love the greens in your poster, I'm partial to greens as you can see on my site.

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully all the preplanning pays off and we have something interesting to show you guys. But hey... we always could use some luck. Our biggest hurtles so far have been learning our new camera, trying to light outdoors with the sun changing, clouds moving, and then the wonderful rain (that out of the two times it rains a year in San Diego, it rains when we are shooting) Our other problem is finding extra people to hold reflectors and other odd jobs (we were lucky and had the most crew we have ever had on Saturday and most of that crew on Sunday, it was great, I felt like I was actually working on a small production instead of a tiny microscopic production
)I'll try to post some picture of our car battery box because I think it's a great emergency piece of equipment that people could use to power their camera, monitor, and even a light or two.

Oooh.... crap, I forgot about the Asbestos, all though it is Chrysotile Asbestos and is one of the least harmful of them all. It's even used in theater curtains (helps in fire proofing). But, good point... luckily he only needed to wear that "version" of the costume for one day.
Thanks for the comments on the poster, I'm thinking of updating it soon now that we have some photos and footage to work with... I like green too, as you can see by my avatar.:beer:

Well folks, I probably won't have too much time to post anything too substantial until this coming Tuesday so I just wanted to say...
