Which matte box for Nikon still and Red?

I'm starting to line up what I need for Red to use with my Nikon still glass. What matte box is reasonably affordable but yet will attach to the Red rail rods, has 2-3 filter trays (at least one of which that rotates) and french flag(s)? I like Cavision but they don't seem to have a package for still lenses. On an earlier thread someone mentioned geardear.com but they don't seem setup for convenient US sales.
Thanks!

No, nothing is final, everything is in flux, count on it.

The Chrosziel 41150 should work well.

Got it. The Nikon 17-55mm is a DX lens which will not work on the RED (no manual aperture). But the 17-35mm will work!??!?! I think...

It is a shame the 17-55 has no aperature ring; it would be the total bargain lens for red. the 17-35 will still be a pretty good option once you add all the old primes.

I asked this question elsewhere but it is probably better here:

Will the Chrosziel 41150 mattebox work for the RED zoom as well? I hoping to use Nikon lenses until the zoom arrives but I'd like to avoid buying two matteboxes. If the Chrosziel will not work can anyone recommend an inexpensive mattebox that will work for both Nikon & Cine lenses? Thanks.

i would get as big of an opening as possible.. and use donuts. thats gonna give you the widest gammut of lens choices.

Gah! The 41150 is over $1200! Okay, now you may be saying "well for a $17,500 body thats a fine price", yeah, but I'm one of the guys that's trying to put togethe a bare bones kit initially. Besides, why would I pay $1200+ for a 41150 when I can get a Cavision matte box for half that? They are both well constructed. I'd just as well get a Cavision then keep adding donuts until it fits.

You get what you pay for, and the 41150 is a "Budget" mattebox. I got mine for the HVX. The good Arri MB is like 6K! The cavision is not going to last you very long, but it might work for a little while.

That mock up picture looks way out of proportion compared to what I saw of the REDONE at IBC. My thinking is once you put Nikon still lenses on the RED you going to have the lenses look very small compared to the body, might take some getting used to.

I hear RedRock are bringing out a mattebox to work with both Cine and Still lenses. They have been working on one for the past year so hopefully it cuts the mustard, their M2 is well build but FollowFocus is a toy so hopefully they have learnt from it.

Anyone know what RED are up to as we haven't heard from them for awhile, I guess no news is good news :-)

How wide can you go with the 41150, I was presuming that it would vignette with a wide lens (14mm) in the 35mm format.

I thought the Arri MB19 might be a good match as a lightweight box, that is about 2000 dollars I think and definitely will allow 14mm in 35mm format. Obviously a lot of money compared to the Cavision, but competitively priced to the equivalent Chrosziel.

Jim said that he was hoping to post some new images of the RedOne this week.
