format a P2 card with the P2 store hooked up to a mac

I have a macbook pro and I am using the P2 store to get footage into FCP on set. How do I format the cards with the P2 store ??

I bet it says in here how to do it. I think it is a button you hold. Of course you must have just missed that page in the manual when you read it cover to cover, right?
