... my titanium R, my titanium R ... c'mon sing with me!

Okay, seriously. I know/hope/wish it's coming one day. I faxed back in my Agreement and my account was dinged. It sure would be nice to know that the fax made it in, and a nice titanium lump under my pillow would sure help me sleep better at night.

I mean, even a fruitcake from Red would rock. Can you imagine a CAD'd plasma-cut Oakleyized fruitcake?

So, that continues to be my wish...

someone mentioned the titanium R was worth quite a bit of change, if that was the case it would be cool if we could trade it in for a pair of Oakley's with red polarized lenses :Drogar-SunGlass(DBG

R's

R's

I have seen them! Kelly is working to ship the remaining units out as fast as possible.... thanks for your patience.

I would imagine that the "R"s are going to be a collectors item a few years down the road (if they aren't already) when the world realizes the impact this camera had on the digital cinema format.

All I want for Xmas is ...

- a picture of the #1 working prototype
- a beta version of the redcode codec
- some new motion samples
- some screenshots of the gui

OR

- some rest for all the RED Team...

I can't decide...

Got mine today in the mail. The presentation is very nicely done, almost fooled my wife into thinking it was some piece of jewelry! :D Thanks so much Kelly and Red Team.

Got my first one (659) yesterday. They are about 100 apart, so it kinda gives you an idea of how large a batch they shipped.

I really like them. They are smaller than I thought they'd be--yeah, like jewelry. When my second one comes in, I'll put them in my wife's ears and wear them at the Academy Awards.

Hi Rob,

Thank you very much for the information. Kelly has provided me with fantastic customer service and I had no worries. From an earlier post of yours I gathered that she has been quite busy (I did not want to add to it). The fact that you have taken time out of your busy schedule to let me know what is going on with this process is greatly appreciated. I cannot wait to reap the rewards of all of the RED Teams' hard work.

Cheers Rob and I look forward to meeting you. Have great holiday RED.

Sincerely,

M. Andrew Benz

Hey Rob,

You might want to suggest to Kelly that it might be a good idea to shoot out an e-mail w/tracking # to each customer as their packages are shipped out. My package has spent the last 3 days in limbo at the FedEx warehouse because the shipping address was wrong and I had no idea the package was even on its way. Just thought it might be helpful. I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow! We all appreciate the hard work you guys have put in on this project. I hope you guys get a little time to relax over the holidays. Thanks so much.
