Take A Look At My Comedic Video

60 views and not 1 not 1 comment not 1 what up people ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Dude, come'on was this even shot on a dvx? Not to hurt your feelings but in the future don't post stuff like this and expect people to comment or comment positively on it.

1) It makes no sense
2) Visually it's terrible
3) Point #1 - It makes no sense

yeep it was shot on a dvx edited on vegas 6, every one get the joke but people here the frank are bad 1, i throw 2 , i call a lawyer sue 3 , i press 3 on the key pad a million times , cause the lawyers recording says press 3 if yiou been the victim of rooten and spoiled food damn dont you get it ????????????

I'm going to hope the interlacing was due to the compression. It doesnt very much look like DVX footage. As for the joke i think i somewhat get it, but you didnt really convey it very well.

the footaged os copres to mpeg2 had to be less then 11mb for the contest MalcomOng, and how so yo u think i could off conveyed it better ????????????

Wow...what a waste of space these comments have been. How about giving something constructive instead of playing the 4th grade bully. If you didn't like it, fine. But to just leave the cat hanging with some of these non-comments is....I dunno. I guess I expect more from this community...

sorry cinemischief

suggestions:

learn as much as you can about composition and lighting. buy a few crap lights from home depot and adjust the cam accordingly.

use the stickypod video uploading site. It can handle bigger files and better quality.

maybe its the compression but the audio needs help. buy mic, turn down dvx imputs?? anything

time the key beeps to the pressing of the buttons...

more shots, background music, spice it up, make it more interesting for the viewer.

thats all i got.

My recommendation is that next time you make a "comedic" video it should be at least somewhat humorous. Personally, I am way past the point where I find puking funny.

A 29 second silent clip of a motionless deaf-mute green parakeet would have been more thrilling, the story would have been better, as well as the dialogue and audio. I cannot imagine what encouraged you to post this.

To be honest, I get the story the first time I watched it and thought it was interesting that you are making this point by shooting this way.

For the contest, what was the restricted length of video for the entry? If it was 30 seconds, then I can imagine why it's short. I can also say that it was poorly compressed because the resolution wasn't that great. One thing every filmmaker can tell is between a poor quality footage and a good one. Here, I see a good quality footage with poor compression. I would never doubt someone for not using a DVX and exporting the footage to be like this. So please, be respectful around here. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but the criticism here is "F" quality, not good.

One person is trying to make a point in a different approach instead of following the norm. The only improvement it needs have already been suggested by "filmismymedium." The puking wouldn't be pleasant because of the way it was acted. If the puking was a continuous, non-drooping movement then the impression would be better.

Keep it up.

Much respect,
Alan

"CineMischief..are you serious, have you seen the video?"

Uh...what makes you think I haven't seen it? Check my post again...it's still there. I ain't saying anyone has to like the vid, but maybe a little decency and thought goes further in helping someone become a better filmmaker than some of the gems that have been posted on this thread.

I'm sure Mark thanks you for the precious critique. So...you didn't like it? Hey, Mark...he didn't like it.

Was it my cup of tea? No, but I like to have something behind my posts that might contribute instead of just clogging the boards with my mellifluous banter. Pretty words.

Geezie. I hope you guys have better experiences posting your stuff than the guy you just tore apart with zero helpful information. Aside from the bird bit.
