no-budget feature film teaser - I, BOY

Well if by "look" you mean the CC on this, then I'm not really sure how to answer that -- it was different for every shot. The trick is to think about composition in advance before you shoot the movie. Be bold and creative... and then the CC'ing will hopefully help bring out your shots.

I always try shoot so that if I wasn't able to CC it would still work.

Oh and IMHO cinemascope ratio really makes your compositions pop more than 16:9 ever does. Yeah, you sacrifice resolution, but i don't care.

I hope that helps somewhat.

Looks great Dime .... I still have the first version of this that you sent .. this vers. looks way more sofisticated as far as acting and camera goes. Match this with some clean audio and deep vocal performances and you've got a 'man's' movie!!!

Thanks Matt!

Actually just lined up someone for sound-design and score duties off the help of this teaser. Also got someone offering to help with FX, which is great...

now i just need help with websites and a couple of small things... Lets hope it all works out.

What's up with you lately?

Kopciak -- Thanks, Appreciate it :)

Markdog -- thanks as well dude. I addressed my CC process in a previous post. I'm not sure what more to say since its so dependant on the scene in question. It always changes. Although, upping the contrast is something that's pretty constant for me. As far as Camera settings go... I lowered the master ped a few notches, and shot 24 p, with 1/60 shutter most times.

what did u put the master ped to and why did u shoot in 1/60 instead of the 1/48 ????

peace n luv

The master pedestal was set to -7, and I shot in 1/60 because that's where the motion begins to look closest to film to my eye.

There was lots of other slight adjustments, but i I can't remember them off the top of my head. I'll try and have a look at my scene settings later. ;)

Dunno. It'd help if I knew what it was about in some miniscule way. Only clue I see to anything are two pills. Which says not-a-lot.

Could be about drugs, could be about someone's medication. Could be totally wrong.

Some nice framing going on and camera-work. Just would like to know more about what's going on...
