When will red be available to none reservation holders

I like many would love to get my hands a red camera, I would have loved to make a reservation but i could not afford to take the chance of not having the money when the camera was ready, so I must painfully wait, after all reservation are filled when and show will i be able to buy the camera!
 
i think RED said something about opening reservations just before RED ships ... they are hoping to fill all the 1073 ( i did see somebody with 1073 under their name) in approx 3 months of 1st shipment- that is allot faster then i thought ..

Even if you can't come up with the cash when your camera is ready, you can simply cancel it and get your $1000 refund. It's too late now, you'll have to wait for the open reservation.
 
there will be tons of places to rent from till you can conjour up enough cheese for your own Red One.. redrental.com being one of them.

The world is gonna change in those first 6 months that the first 2000 cameras are out and about shooting everything from shorts to big budget features.. there is gonna be such an influx of 4k footage its gonna be hard to goback to watch 1080 again.

This will hopefully expedite the the release of 4k monitors. I really hope apple comes out with a 4k apple cinema display near RED's release.

You sure about that Jarred? I went there and it looks like a property rental place.
 
So... is RED going to open up more reservations just before shipment? Or, do new (non-reservation) buyers have to wait for Red Two (to purchase)? Thanks.
 
Neither. Around March/April (or when RED decides it's time), they will open up ordering for RED ONE to the public. These aren't reservations, these are orders for cameras. RED TWO isn't even on the horizon yet.
 
Big fan of the Orphanage... and indeed, you look to be very close to the end.

Worth a prize in its own right.
 
Definatley.. the Orphanage rocks. We did a little moco thing for them a while back and had a great time. I even got a free beanie and hat out of the deal :)

i faxed in at 11:56pm PST !!! = 1051
so i know there will be at least 3 REDS in SF area ...

Stu i also have #103 - if you want to do/share some test before 1073 arrives
