P2 to FCP 5.1.2 Importing Problems?

Hello guys,
I'm new to the forum.
Anyway. I'm having trouble importing some clips.

Out of 50 Clips that I try to import from the P2 AJ-PCS060 to FCP,
15 of the clips didn't transfer over. A little icon that looks like a stop sign with an exclamation point in it, is next to the file that didn't transfer. I can preview the clips fine which lead me to believe that the actually footage is fine, just the transfer is having some problems.

Please...please...I need some help. Thanks guys. Peace

Is this just a problem with FCP 5.1.2. I spoke to a friend last night and he said that he never had any of the red-stop-sign with the exclamation point in the middle problem, with a little older version of FCP. I'm going to his house later on in the evening and try importing it on an older version. so i'll keep post my results.

I never had the problem before until tonight when unloading a critical interview (that's always how it goes). What worked for me was to uncheck the "remove advanced pulldown" in the preferences. Then the problem clips came in with no hesitation.

I'm getting a little stop sign action tonight, but it doesn't seem to be anything that retrying doesn't fix.
 
In FCP, to to the FCP menu, then go to the Feedback command, it takes you to Apple's FCP feedback page on their web site. Fill it out and tell Apple to fix the danged P2 Import driver!

I just began having these problems. P2 Log is able to convert most of the problem clips, but not all. Take them to a PC, they import just fine.

APPLE, WAKE UP!!!!

You just saved me a coronary, buddy. It's my first time working with P2 and we're doing a commercial for University of Hawaii where we have these killer dolphin jumping shots that didn't want to come in to FCP.
