Yeah she was! I almost wished I was Blaine in that situation!! (Ok, is Blaine still reading at this point?) I'm so glad I wasn't stuck in that bathroom... Brittany was smokin hot standing there... I mean, good GOD man... :Drogar-Evil(DBG):

I hope we got the effect we were going for in the last shot with David standing there with the knife. He was waiting in the shadows for Matt...

You color corrected this shot, yes? To look darker?

I mean, you didn't leave it all white and daytime looking, did you? It's cool if you did but I was just wondering.

Kyle, the shots you are seeing were done with a dslr. The purpose of the shot were to basically shot photos of the production, not necessarily give the atmosphere. The movie itself was shot much darker than what you see in these photos.

Not sure if the tapes from the SDX900 have been transferred yet. Until they are, y'all'll just have to wait on the screenshots...:)

I do need to move this thread over to User Films... I think it's about time it did. And screenshots will be done as soon as we get ahold of a deck to transfer the tapes to HDD.

That wasn't the actual shot. That was shot for the BTS stuff before we actually filmed it. Kevin shot a light off the wall to give him a nice shadowed look.

Nope, the tapes are still sitting at my house... those big speaker magnets make a nice tape stand... :cheesy:
 
I will be capturing the footage this weekend, so if Tom approves, I will post a few garbs and discuss the lighting and camera considerations.

I am trying out a new capture process involving a AJ-SD93 VTR and the latest version of DVRack 2.0 HD. If it all works out as planned, it should make for and extremely fast and painless transfer.

Fingers crossed.
 
Yeah, we can throw a few frame captures up here. I think that would be cool. There won't be any color correction or anything - there really shouldn't be much of that anyways, since Kevin had everything set up in camera...

I'm looking forward to seeing it myself!

Actually, I haven't even seen any of the BTS stuff shot with Blaine's DVX100...
