any feedback on what i made?

Nice guys, well I think we should all get back to the original point of the thread. Bring us more footage, arnearnee, we can't critique your out-of-the-box footage very well... give us something more! congrats on the dvx, though! ;)

I'll be TURNING 20 next Sunday. But still, I feel so old when there are people born in the 90's doing really good stuff. I've got to step up my game!

I miss trick-or-treating. Ooh, the joys of childhood. (Not to say that I CAN'T do it now, but it just doesn't usually work at this age)

hrm, i could still see it happening though

Scenario:

( Doorbell rings )

- door opens -

" Hello? "

- Trick or treat!

a long awkard silence.

maybe i could just explain that im dressed up as a midlife crisis......

You know, it might work. Maybe sit down with them and tell them some awful story about how Halloween was ruined for you by a bad trick-or-treating experience when you were young, and you've had a fear of approaching stranges houses since, and now you're trying to get over your fear. It might score you some candy. :)

i think we've killed this thread/hijacked it defintely.

but its a good point to bring up, i hate getting older....

Lets start a 20 year old boys film company.

I'm all for it.

and Kyle... haha, yeah, I know what you mean. 50's not far away from becoming "midlife", and we're complaining about being out of the teens! Although, having rollerbladed very aggressively for the past 8 years, my body feels more along the lines of 29 or 30. But hey, it has been fun.

Looking forward to it, arneearnee!

Lawsuit boy - I'm curious why your username is what it is? Anything to do with the rollerblading? =)

ive actually always wondered what would happen if a few of us got together and organized some form of team, we'd take over the industry! some of the minds and skill here are beyond whts being created out there.

Honestly, I think you're right. I've seen some really excellent stuff here at dvxuser, and I know that there are so many talented people that frequent this forum. I'd love to work with some of you some day. It'd be like meeting long lost brothers (and sisters)!

Kyle- haha, no. The name doesn't come from anything having to do with skating. It's actually a nickname my friends gave me when I was in the 8th grade. To make an EXTREMELY long story short, I got involved in a lawsuit with my SCHOOL over a website I made in order to promote a video I was trying to make, and I created a page called "Losers" and put a picture of two of my friends up on it. The lawsuit lasted for about 2 and a half years, and it was the worst experience of my life so far. Talk about pressure, and eyes on the back of your neck.

20 is midlife? Well... I can't imagine what you will be like at 40.

i guess its a little bit different as a young actor. Cause its all about timing.

Glad to see some younger kids on here working hard for cameras. Ill be 18 in a few weeks and just purchased a DVX. I worked hard for it this summer and am very excited.

A lawsuit in 8th grade? sheesh..... what a way to get educated about life!
