Worked a ton for it, but yeah i go to a highschool that is big in film and im taking film class there so yeah im studying it
 
you worked for 3k huh? atta boy... i took out a loan. my highschool was **** for film, i'm studying in Nebraska now at the University here. It's not bad... but I am still stuck in some acting classes this year.
 
Ah man i had to take acting class my first year of this school, i hatttted it. But yeah i got the cam for 1700 used so it wasnt that bad to work for

oh man i would have loved being that age and owning a camera this nice. I guess things are changing. haha being born in the 90s, i'm only 23, but it makes me feel a lot older than I actually am.

enjoy the dvx man! put it to good use, there are a lot of awesome things going on at that age that i wish i would have had a camera that nice to shoot.
 
Well since this is shaping up to be a young DVXuser's convention, I'm 16 and got my camera earlier this year, and I'm studying in a high school that doesn't remotely offer film at all... and here's one thing i've done which is online(and screenshots from another of mine on the right hand side) http://wobblin.net/2006/06/29/acsi-ib-world-school-student-council-2006/

Regarding the footage, thats some nice shallow depth of field shots you've got, and its remarkably steady for not having a tripod handy. Some color correction will really make those colors pop!

I really enjoyed how you extracted the audio and placed it over many clips.
most 'kids' would just do cut scenes.

I was bummed it ended so early
