Download And Vote

Unfortunately, people don't name their files consistently...so I'm not sure that will work. The other problem is that my work firewall prevents me from downloading between 10:00 and 2:00, so I can't update until this afternoon (though Brandon is putting what he can up for me)

Are you going to update the front post with mine and Mikko's mirrors?
 
yup. Nevermind, i wasnt on XP, im on NEXTSTEP....

Just kidding, this PC here at work is my 'test' PC and is junk, had to restart for some reason. got it goin
 
ok, so i downloaded qmesh then downloaded the zip files which contains 334 Lost Lake Dr. to DoorFinal. Anyway, none of the files are good. They ALL are corrupt. the first two I try to open say Error: Bad Public Movie Atom was found. The rest are all static noise. What gives?
 
hmmm I tested out Developed and 5b, 5b gave the "Error: Bad Public Movie Atom was found"

and Developed is just static. I have Quicktime 7.1. I'm on my work computer at work...but I'll try again at home with Quicktime Pro, but I doubt that's the problem.

It's not gone, the qmesh has a cache. Just try downloading it again, and you'll see everything you downloaded so far come in very, very fast, and it will resume downloading where you left off.
 
It says he is still uploading...apparently he took the list down until he is done (the update is listed as 10:30 am PST (which is right now)
 
I tested out a couple movies from the second zip file: Project 47 and Into the Darkness.

Project47 opened in QT and the timeline moves, but there is no video or sound.
Into the Darkness gave me an Error -50: an unknown error occured.

I guess I can try to re-download at home, and also try it on the home PC. Has anyone successfully viewed the movies from the zip files?

Ya.. my poor server is still really slow uploading all the files. I'll "Open my gates" whenever they finish. Hopefully that will be around noon today at this rate. Sheesh.
