Confirmed Uploads

I uploaded mine in six attempts. The two smaller files are corrupt somehow and wont open. But I re-uploaded the corrected file. I don't know what was going on with my computer, my zip files wouldn't work for some reason until I re-booted. Hope to see my name in the list soon.

Hey Jarred, If we don't see our movie on the list.... should we be taking a look at our files and re-sending them???

How does this work?

I am home all day turning my movie set back into a house! I will do whatever I need to upload something that works!!!

Thanks man. Hope you had a good shoot yesterday. What was it for? Your Horrorfest entry?!

Thanks again!

Ted

I didn't see Mary Mercer in the list either. But yesterday someone that was uploading told me it was there. Do I need to resend?

Uh, sorry Jarred, I see that you are just now going through them. I'll be patient and check back in a few minutes.

developed-need mpeg...

you gave me that fasttrack ftp account to another server and i uploaded my entire zip file on there. i hope this solves the problem...

Yeah, if we don't see our project on the list do we need to upload again? Or just hang tight cause you haven't gotten to it yet?

thanks man!

I note that our film "Thou Shalt Not" which was uploaded very early Sunday morning is off the server (just checked at 08:20 PST today) but not yet on the list at the head of this thread. While not yet concerned, I am more than a bit curious as to its status 48 hours after uploading.

We gave our Mpeg2 version with .wav file, is this no good or am I missing something?

The problem with supplying PCM for your audio content is that with the CBR of 8 Mb/s PCM is going to challenge (if not down right exceed) the capabilities (in terms of sustained data rates) many low end DVD players. I would recommend that you process your PCM file into a Dolby Digital (.ac3) and submit it as a replacement to be certain that there aren't any playability issues on the DVD.

Well, now I'm getting nervous...It's not on the server, so I'm sure Jarred's taken it down. The file size was correct, so everything should be there. But no sign of it on the first post. On the other hand, Jarred's last update was 5 something am and he's got to check them out so I guess I'll just relax and wait awhile longer.

Yep, I am wondering the same thing. Is Stricken up and ready to roll Jarred? Thanks for your patience with all of us, and for making this thing happen! :)

I've uploaded a new quicktime after I realised the last one had been de-interlaced. I hope Jarred posts my new version....

I linked him via PM to one I uploaded on my own server....I hope he replaced it. Quicktime Pro had applied this automatic filter thing that did some weird stuff to the colors. It's not awful, but it's not how it's supposed to look and the colors fluctuate a bit. THe new file is actually .2mb smaller and looks way better.....I hope he replaces it.
