Hahahaha, that slow motion of that kid falling through the air and then winking in mid flight was hilarious! Great footage, etc. You know how it goes...

Thank you... That's my director..

Where can I find a place to post footage?? Great stuff by the way...I just shot a music video with the M2 and my HVX

I'm trying to get my head around the M2. What are the advantages over the normal lens? Why do people mainly use them? How much do they cost? I currently own a HVX200 and a DVX100B...

The Depth of field that allows you to choose what is in and out of focus is able to be done with the M2 or any other 35mm adapter. I gives it that film look. Watch the focus changes at stuff in my sample over here

The DVX and HVX lenses are not long enough for this effect. This ability is makes things look much less "Video"

Hey Justin,

One more question. I did a search but I couldn't find out what a "hard mounted setup" was. Could you elaborate?

Much Thanks.

The M2 comes with a rubber hood which holds it in place on the ACROMAT (the thing screwed into the camera, kinda like a magnifing glass) you take off the hood (because it can move) and there is a 55mm threaded UV filter on the back of the M2 Adapter.. you then put a 55->55mm coupler ring on that, then a 72->55mm stepdown ring on the camera.. then you screw the entire M2 on the camera.. Now you have a hard mount..
