I got my book on Friday. My first thought was how small it was -- didn't seem like a $100 book to me. But paging through it for only ten seconds quickly demonstrated how much information was packed in... I could randomly open to any page and learn two or three new things without effort.

Bottom line: NICE JOB! I would recommend this book to anyone!

Hello !

I sent my payment for the book via Paypal on July, the 2nd. When I ask for the shipping status, USPS tells me "there's no record of this item". Do you know when I could expect getting the book ?

USPS does not provide tracking info. Any number you may have received is simply a delivery verification # -- it tells the shipper that you have received the package, it can't track the package in progress. If you've gotten the USPS shipping notification, it shouldn't be much longer... I too ordered my book on the 2nd, and I got mine this past Friday.

Thanks for the info, Cam-Ra ! I got no separate shipping notification (would it be sent to the email associated with my Paypal account), but I do suppose it has been shipped, as the package number seems to be registered somehow. I'll be watching the mailman like mad :)

The it kind of bugged me with the buldge in my book, So i took the plastic holder peice off, and the glue was sticky enough that I took one of those fiberish cd sleeves and stuck it to the sticky stuff and it works PERFECT, no more bulge :) ( I am sure you can use paper, or plastic) I am at page 104 in 2 hours or reading. and WOW just so helful. This is best instruction book, And 2nd best book overall I have boughten.

Sorry to flood the site with questions on the rebate. I'd gladly pay the $90 for this (honestly, if you pay $6000 for a camera why not pay another $100 to get the most out of it) but I'm quite low on funds and can't turn down a good deal.

I'm curious what type of proof of purchase from an authorized retailer we'll need. Essentially, I'm curious if I'll need to contact B&H since I've currently misplaced my receipt.
 
I'll just quickly tell my story about how the book found to me. It was shipped on July 1st, and did arrive in Switzerland on July 7th...at the wrong village. :) I got a phone call that day, Saturday morning. The lady from the post office told me about the wrong delivery, and asked, if she should organize a courier, to bring it to me on the same day, or if it would be enough, if I get it on Monday. I told her, that it would be okay on Monday. So, I had it on monday.

And by the way, when I got the call from the post office, I had started watching "Cast Away", the "FedEx-Ad" with Tom Hanks the other day. :)
 
Ho, I've ordered the book on june, 25 and I've not received yet (Spain). How can I know the situation of the shipment?

In US PS Postal Service web says that I've just received my package ¿¿¿???? but I've not received anything yet. :( I can't get a phone number here in Spain to solution this. And wy web it's a circle without way out.

How are you doing man?


I know Barry is on the road and I'm sure he'll get back with you shortly but after reading your post I just wanted to give you a quick heads up.

The USPS tracking has confirmed that your book has arrived in Spain and is now in the hands of the Spanish Postal Service.


It might still be in Spanish Customs or it might be out to you for delivery.


After the Spanish Postal Service gets the package they take over so the USPS web site will not be up to the minute accurate.

You will most probably get the package before their web site is updated.


I've mailed a fair amount of CDs, Books, and DVDs to Europe and know from first hand experience that it can take a bit after it arrives to clear customs and be delivered.


I'm sure you'll get your package no problem in the next few days.

Yep.

Barry would be the man for that.

I was just sharing my experiences with international shipping.


For what it is worth I have only heard good things about Barry and Jared getting people what they have ordered.


I am sure if you PM Barry he will get back to you in short order.
