Right now I'm using the adapter with a AudioTechinica AT-837a. It only records audio on one channel... Does anyone know if theres a way I can divide it among both channels, I did it in post but I would like to know if theres a way to do it on the camera.. Thanks

Nope. Sorry

The Audio routing on the XL1 sucks.
It's either shotgun in stereo (using both channels) OR the audio inputs as seperate channels. I hate this more than anything else about the XL1.

- Mikko ... wants shotgun on one channel and Radio Mic on another, but can't. Stupid camera.

Wow didn't realize that. That's pretty lame. Ahhhh.... dearest DVX.

What's wrong with doing it in post though. It is easy enough to do.

Thats not true stereo then, right? I would just be like doublling a mono channel.

Correct. You'd need 2 similar/same microphones each going into its own channel. There isn't a way to get true stereo with 1 microphone, only rechanneled stereo.

Ahh damn, oh well. I'm just going to be using it cover automotive events, I guess I'll just double the channels in post.. Thanks for the help guys.
