Century Optics .7x fits xlh1?

[razamalik]

Hi i have been using Canon Xl1 with Century Optics .7x Wide Angle Adapter & my question is would the same Adapter go on the new Canon XLH1? or one would need to invest in a new wide angle lens or adapter?

I think so, Raza. Although, I'm afraid .7x wideangle adapter isn't HD quality. I've been following the century previous website where they were mentioning .8x as HD quality -- and the others hadn't the same reference...

The Older Century fits on the XLH1 Lens but has some picture problems which show up in different situations. Some shots could be fine but others not so good. The Century .8XHD is much cleaner but you need the adapter ring since it is a screw on and can touch the front of the 20X lens without it.

The Canon 3x SD lens is significantly better than any adapter option available today. I know. I've used it.
