Die Monster Die Music Vid Grabs

[MojoTrancer]

Very, very soon I'm going to do a project that doesn't involve creatures and blood...

But not today. Here's some grabs from a music video I'm doing for a band named Die Monster Die. They're a horror rock band that puts on quite an interesting live show. This is their first music video. Despite their appearance, they are some of the nicest guys you could meet.

The video was only supposed to take a couple of weeks, but has stretched out into a three-month project due to scheduling conflicts and lack of money. But now we've got half of the video shot and we're doing the rest the first week of June. I can't wait. As fun as this has been, I didn't expect it to take this much of my time. Foolish me. I guess I'll know better next time.

The first pictures are of the young heroine of the video, Whitney. The others are of the lead singer, Zero.

Great looking grabs, love the 'monster'! Nice lighting in the car shots of the girl.

Love it!

Nice lighting in the car shots of the girl.

Agreed.

This is nice wrok dude. Nothing like a hot chick and Satan himself in the same scene; cept' maybe the Indy 500.

Let us know when we can watch the whole thing!

[Steven Bogda]

Yeah I want to see this in action. It looks sweet.

Lookin' good Moj!

I have to echo the other comments on here that it's looking like you are handling the lighting quite nicely. Can't wait to see it in motion!

haha, he looks a bit like Eddie (any Iron Maiden fans in here?). The grabs look really good.

[Ill Eagle]

Nice.........

Thanks for the comments, Everyone. Yeah I like the car shots the best too. Our shoot on the 3rd is when we're doing the really cool stuff. I'll update this with some clips as soon as I can.

Looks great! How are you lighting the girl?

speaking of Maiden and Eddie, from what i can see, this looks a lot like The Wicker Man video.

Thanks! We lit her scenes with a Rifa-lite. On some of the angles we used a photoflex reflector (the huge one) to bounce some fill light from a tota. Nothin fancy.

No idea. Never seen it. The video concept came from the band, with a little input from me and my partner Trevor. I'm just trying to make it look good for them.
